Cora Board Care Instructions

Cora Board is the single plank Vermont maple cutting board without glue, varnish or wax for the purest cutting surface possible. We want you to have the best experience with Cora Board, so we recommend the following care instructions:

  • Hand wash with warm water and soap.

  • Dry thoroughly on both sides.

  • DO NOT submerge in water or put in the dishwasher.

  • Store in a dry place away from extreme temperatures.

  • It is possible that the board might slightly cup from time to time. If this occurs, place the cupped side down and it should right itself.

  • Natural wood checking can occur. This does not impact the healthy cutting surface, but if you want to slow it down, you can apply mineral oil to the Cora Board. Use a cloth to apply to both sides, leave to soak in, then wipe off the excess with a cloth.
  • Optional: you can refresh the appearance of your Cora Board by sanding the surface with fine-grit sandpaper.
